This winter, our Ho‘okele Program will be taking six boys from the island of Kaua‘i—many of whom are experiencing housing insecurity and or have never had the chance to travel off-island—on a life-changing snowboarding trip to Mount Hood, Oregon. The trip will likely take place in January or February, where the boys will stay at the mahalo mountain cabin and be welcomed by the extremely supportive Mt. Hood  community. This experience gives them the opportunity to step outside of their everyday environment, build confidence, and discover new passions. We are currently seeking donations of snowboard gear, winter clothing, or financial support to help make this journey possible. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue guiding youth to new peaks.
